Letters to the Editor
Trill and the Beanstalk by Edmund Schubert was excellent. I frequently cast
around for sci-fi that I can really dig into, and this hit most of the points I was
looking for. I could go on for a long time about everything this story did right.

I enjoyed The Robot Sorcerer by Eric James Stone. I thought the writer handled a
difficult story, with a difficult perspective, extremely well. I was never bored, I
thought the blending of fantasy and science fiction (also difficult to do) was
executed brilliantly, and I cared about MERLIN the robot. I would definitely like
to see more from this writer, and (assuming you send this letter to him),
congratulations on a neat little story.

Keep the stories of Eric James Stone coming in. I vow to purchase every and all
issues containing his work. My son and I share these stories and Mr. Stone's are by
far the ones we talk about the most and re-read. We have several inside jokes with
each other due to reading those stories and they have brought us closer together.
Keep up the great work and bring in some more Eric James Stone!

I just read Ender in Flight and I loved it. It was definitely worth the wait, one of my
favorites of the Enderverse.

I just wanted to say how amazed I was with the content of Issue 8. The (perhaps
unintentionally) religious and mythology themed issue was perhaps one of the best
to date. I stayed up for hours eagerly reading one story after another, and found
each one more fascinating than the last. Cheers to Orson Scott Card, Edmund R
Schubert, and all the staff and writers who worked to put together such a great
magazine.
